SPEL is a partner of the European MedLit Project # 45 - Building advanced media literacy skills and digital skills of low-skilled adults 45+ through social media, which will last for two years and has partners from Romania, Greece, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
The main goal of the project is to help low-skilled adults (especially those over 45 years old) to develop digital skills in order to generate greater opportunities in social and professional areas through social networks.
The final product of the project aims at the development of a social skills competency building structure and an online resource platform to improve learning opportunities produced to the needs of the less qualified individuals in digital skills.
The results of the project will be:
• The development of a structure for building digital skills through social networks for unemployed people with low qualifications and over 45;
• The pilot development and implementation of an online resource platform for building digital skills for low-skilled people over the age of 45;
• The development and dissemination of a manual for professionals who support unemployed people (download it here).
